Porto Vecchio is a well-known condominium building in Alexandria, Virginia. Located in 1250 S. Washington Street, the condominiums are situated comfortably near the banks of the Potomac River.
Porto Vecchio is a pretty building with a postmodern and minimalist motif on the exterior. Its design easily reminds the sharp-eyed artist of the works of Michael Graves, with the use of strong colors, fixed geometric shapes, and pronounced brick textures. The reddish-brown building is definitely hard to miss.
By the way...
No one would ever say this:
All condominiums are climate-controlled. When the weather gets too warm, centralized air conditioning can keep the temperature in the condominium comfortable. Conversely, when it gets a little too cold, forced-air heating can keep occupants cozy.
Because only the shabbiest of slums don't have climate control in the US.
